we dissent

The Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade, ending the constitutional right to abortion in the U.S. and reversing nearly 50 years of precedent. The Cedars fam is heartbroken, confused, disappointed, dehumanized, devalued, and fucking pissed. Our mothers and grandmothers had more access to reproductive care than we currently do.

Even when you know injustice coming, it’s still a gut punch.

We are very aware that this will impact ALL of us…and that impact will be disproportionate for people of colour and we should fight accordingly. Our liberation is collective…we don’t rise unless we all rise.
